INTERNSHIPS

Tulane University undergraduates can apply for an internship with the Clay Center! We've partnered with Tulane's Center for Public Service to offer semester-long internships for credit that will meet your second-tier Service Learning requirement. Internships are currently offered for academic credit for Tulane students only. To get started, check out the internship descriptions below:

Social Media/ Marketing Internship
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Weekly 3-hour gallery sitting shift on either Fridays or Saturdays between 12 and 6 pm. Remaining hours required for the internship can be completed remotely.
    • Creating and maintaining social media content calendar
    • Drafting social media posts and events
    • Taking and editing photos of exhibition artwork
    • Updating mailing lists
    • Drafting email marketing campaigns
  • Interest or experience in marketing, visual art, photography, ceramics, and/or arts administration is recommended.
  • Recommended for Marketing, Studio Art, or any Liberal Arts majors.

Development/ Fundraising Internship
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Weekly 3-hour gallery sitting shift on either Fridays or Saturdays between 12 and 6 pm. Remaining hours required for the internship can be completed remotely.
    • Researching and updating information grant opportunity pipeline
    • Drafting grant applications
    • Writing and sending donation acknowledgement letters
    • Assisting with annual fall and spring fundraising campaigns
  • Interest or experience in visual art, ceramics, grant writing, fundraising, and/or arts administration is recommended.
  • Recommended for Studio Art, English or any Liberal Arts majors.
