Open Studio Monthly membership

With this studio membership option, you can use as many of our posted Open Studio hours as you'd like for just $139/month!

Please note that due to scheduled classes, there is no studio access available on Tuesdays. Our Open Studio hours are currently 9 am-5 pm every day of the week except Tuesday.

This membership option includes:

Access to the main Clay Center studio during current open hours only.
One designated shelf in the main studio for storing works-in-progress.
One locker for securely storing your clay, tools, and personal supplies.
10% off all Clay Center classes and workshops.
No long term commitment! Memberships can be canceled with one month's notice sent to [email protected].

To check availability and make your first payment, please click here.
Starting with your second month of membership, the $139 monthly fee will be charged automatically on the first of each month via a Stripe subscription payment.
Your membership can be canceled or upgraded with one month's written notice sent to [email protected].
If the studio is closed for an extended amount of time in a given month, a prorated amount of the monthly membership fee will be refunded.

General Open Studio Info

Studio memberships and Open Studio hours are for individuals who already have some experience in clay and can work without direction or help. If you have never worked in clay but would like to learn, please consider signing up for one of our classes!
Open Studio is also great for current students who want more studio time beyond their class hours.

Clay and Firing Info

Our standard cone 06 bisque and cone 6 glaze firings are included with your membership!
Clay is not included with your membership but you can purchase it onsite as needed or you can bring in your own.
If you can't verify your clay body by the manufacturer's name or number, we'll need to test-fire a sample of it to cone 6.
Use of our studio glazes is included with your membership, but you can also bring in your own.
Clay or glazes brought in must be rated for firing to cones 5-6 (mid-range).
To prevent contamination and accidental meltdowns, low-fire clay and glazes (cones 06-04) may not be used in the Clay Center studio.
Clay may be purchased during our Open Hours, or online for pickup at a later time. Check out our online store to see which clay bodies we currently have in stock.
